Title I Reading and Math - Intervention Teacher

                          Welcome 

Hello and thank you for taking an interest in your child's education. I am currently a 3rd/4th Grade Title I reading and math teacher. I give extra support to students who need it. I have been teaching at Huron for over 13 years.  I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelors Degree in Middle School Education. I received my Master’s Degree from B.G.S.U in Curriculum and Instruction. I am married with two boys, Blake and Grady. In my spare time I love to bike, travel, read, and play sports with my boys. 

My Mission

I want each student to feel confident that I care about them and that I will help them to achieve their goals. I know each child will progress at his/her own rate, acquiring skills as he/she is developmentally ready. Maintaining each child's self-esteem and building a secure foundation for future growth will always remain a priority in my classroom. We will build on and celebrate small successes.  My ultimate goals is for your child to look forward to coming to school, grow academically, and realize they are an important member of the Huron Tiger family.
