HURON CITY SCHOOLS
TITLE I PROGRAM


The Title I team is dedicated to giving our students the extra support they need to feel confident and be successful.  We work closely together to determine how we can best serve each student.   Each year all teachers will hold an annual meeting to introduce themselves, explain the Title I program, and answer any questions parents may have. Information about the annual meeting will be sent home within the first month of school.

Julie Lenner McDonald, Ed.D, currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Academic Affairs and also oversees Gifted Services for the district. Her teaching experiences include elementary and junior high language arts and math as well as teaching at the university level. Dr. McDonald's research experience included gifted education and services, leadership, assessment, and policy. She loves a good book and traveling. Dr. McDonald is the proud mom of two and wife of Chris, also an educator.
