Huron City Schools will conduct registration and screening for incoming Kindergarten/Preschool children. Parents/Guardians are required to accompany their child to the screening.
*Preschool screenings will take place on March 18 and 19. Eligible preschool students must be 3 years old by August 1, 2024
*Kindergarten screenings will take place on May 28 and 29. Eligible Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by August 1, 2024.
The screening will take place at Woodlands Elementary, 1810 Maple Ave.
Both Preschool and Kindergarten parents are asked to sign-up for screening on-line through one of the registrations forms below.

Important Preschool Information:
Prior to screening parents/guardians are required to pick up a packet in Woodlands front office beginning on Tuesday, February 20. The completion of this packet and the required documentation is to be returned no later than Wednesday, March 13. This is in addition to the registration process outlined below.
Important Kindergarten Information:
At your child’s screening you must bring the following documents:
-Original birth certificate
-Immunization records
-A current electric bill along with one additional proof of
residency
-Custody papers (if applicable).
These items are required to complete registration.
Registration Process for both Preschool and Kindergarten:
Huron City Schools uses an online registration process to gather the needed information to enroll your child in school. Final Forms will send you an email during the week of May 6th with a link to confirm your account and set-up your password. You may then click on the incomplete forms button and complete all of the forms for your student(s).
If you require assistance completing the online registration packet, please contact the Huron City Schools registration office at 419-433-1234 ext 5005. Your registration is complete when you have completed your forms and steps 1 and 2. The on-line registration needs to be completed prior to your child’s screening session.
