The Huron Fallen Heroes Memorial was dedicated on October 24, 2013 at Huron Memorial Stadium. The project was spearheaded by Paul Ward, '83, who designed the memorial, raised the funds, saw to its completion, and then planned the beautiful ceremony. All members of the community were invited to attend the unveiling, especially veterans. The names of all 61 Huronites fallen in conflcits since the Civil War are inscribed on the wall of Vermont granite.For a short presentation of the ceremony, click here.
