1.
The Superintendent's Student Cabinet is seeking new members for the
19-20 school year. Student Cabinet meets monthly with the
Superintendent to discuss many different topics. Applications are
available in the School Counseling office - see Mrs. Smith. Completed
applications must be received by the end of the school day on Monday,
September 23rd. Current members do NOT need to reapply.
2. This
week is Homecoming and Spirit Week! The dance will be held Saturday,
9/21, from 8-10pm at Woodlands School. Dance tickets will be sold through Friday during lunch. Tickets are $10 each.

Sign-ups for Huron Ski Club will be held Monday, 9/23, during lunch.
Learn how to ski or snow board at Brandywine Ski Resort.
4. We have extra yearbooks from the 2019 school year for sale in the high school office. The cost is $65.
5.
TLC is partnering with the Huron Volleyball team for a Pediatric Cancer
Awareness volleyball game on October 1st. Abi Miller, Makenna Schafer
and Layne Gimperling will pass out order forms for t-shirts to help
raise money for childhood cancer. If you want to buy a $10 t-shirt to
raise money for Pediatric Cancer the deadline is the 26th of September.

Juniors and Sophomores interested in taking the PSAT on October 16th -
Junior sign ups begin September 16th and Sophomore sign ups begins
September 30th. There are a limited number of tests so please sign up
in the School counseling office as soon as possible. The cost is $17
and you can pay by check (made out to Huron High School) or cash.
7. Community Service Hours
Opportunity: Student tour guides and ambassadors are needed for Friday,
September 20 from 4:00 - 7:00pm at HHS. Any students interested should
stop in the office and see Mr. Antonelli ASAP. Go Tigers.

Freshman please remember to bring your permission slip to the School
Counseling office if you would like to attend the Futuremakers event at
EHOVE. Permission slips are due by September 30th.

Foundation. on October 11 at the home football game versus Oak Harbor.
