Announcements - Friday, 1/24/2020
1. Attention Juniors in good standing: Please consider applying for a spot
in the prestigious Buckeye Boys and Girls State summer programs. Please
see Mrs. Merckens for applications and more information. Applications
are due no later than Thursday, January 30.
2 Attention all seniors in good standing: You could work the polls on
Ohio's upcoming Primary Election Day, Tuesday, March 17, and get paid
for it! Please see Mrs. Merckens in room 214 for an application and
more information.

TLC has organized a program called "Flakes of Love" that raises money
for students in the community. TLC will be selling paper snowflakes for
$1 on Mondays and Fridays at lunch.
4. Seniors are reminded that your diploma "name" paper is due to the high school office today.
5. Attention swimmers, volleyball players, or any student arriving before
school to condition or use the weight room - Please do not park behind
the school. You are reminded to park in designated student areas only
due to limited staff parking.

Reminder to ALL Juniors
- The ACT will be administered at Firelands College on February 25th.
Students will be transported from HHS at 7:25am and return to HHS around
11:30am, at which time theta re excused for the day.
7. All seniors, help support your male or female senior basketball player by purchasing a “I love Huron Basketball shirt”. Forms are available for pick up in the office. Order forms need to be turned into Bennett’s by January 24th 2020. Senior Night for girls basketball is January 31, 2020 and February 18, 2020 for boys basketball.
8. There is an exciting scholarship opportunity available to students
interested in pursuing a degree from the University of Toledo College of Engineering
in computer science and engineering technology (CSET), computer science
and engineering (CSE) or information technology (ITCE). Details
pertaining to the scholarship can be found in the guidance office.
9. Attention softball players - Meet the coach Monday, 1/27/20, after school in the cafeteria.
10. The swimmers will be dismissed at 2:20 today to prepare for their trip to Perrysburg.
