Announcements - Wednesday, 1/29/2020
1. All Senior Poll Worker applications and Junior Buckeye Boys and Girls
State Applications are due to Mrs. Merckens in room 214 by this
Thursday, January 30.
2. Attention ALL Seniors - Local scholarship information and
applications will become available this Friday, Jan. 31st in the Tiger
Union. There will be meetings in the Union during periods 1, 4, and 7.
If you can not attend during one of those times, please stop into the
HHS Counseling Office.
3. Come on out to support the girls basketball team on Friday 1/31/20 as the Lady Tigers take on Oak Harbor. The
Cheerleaders and Pep Band will be there to perform. All Huron high
school students in attendance will have a chance to Win an All Sports
Pass for the 2020 - 2021 school year. Two passes will be drawn
at the end of the 3rd quarter. Come on out to cheer on our girls and a
chance to win an All Sports Pass.

Reminder to ALL Juniors
- The ACT will be administered at Firelands College on February 25th.
Students will be transported from HHS at 7:25am and return to HHS around
11:30am, at which time theta re excused for the day.
5. News from the Huron Public Library:
Do you like the show Stranger Things? Think you can take on a
Demogorgon? Join the NEW Dungeons & Dragons Club for Grades 7 - 12
at the Library. Dungeon Master Clay welcomes both D&D beginners and
experts. The bounds of your imagination are the only limits.
The next club meeting is on Monday, February 27 from 4 - 7 pm. Visit
the Teen Services section of the Library's website to register today!
For those that enjoy gentler pastimes, visit the Library on Wednesday,
January 29th for National Puzzle Day. There will be puzzles throughout
the Library for you to piece together and prizes for trivia, word, and
number puzzles.
Finally, the Library will be hosting Chess again on Saturday, February 1
from 1 - 4 pm. Come to learn the game or to be challenged by a chess
master. No registration required; just show up!
