  1. Today’s lunch is Bosco Sticks.


  1. There will be no more charging in the cafeteria. No exceptions.  Please make sure your lunch account is paid.


  1. Student Council will be selling tickets for the end of the year dance Wednesday - Friday May 15th - 17th at 7th and 8th grade lunches. Tickets are $5. To purchase your ticket, you must turn in the dance permission slip. See Mrs. Rowen if you need another copy.


  1. Both 6th Grade Girls Groups and 6th Grade BROX will meet today, during 3rd period.


  1. There will be a meeting for any 8th grader interested in running cross country next season in Miss Dunn's room today during study hall.


  1. Students that are waiting to enter the cafeteria for lunch must remain in line and stay to the right hand side of the hallway allowing those students and staff room to get by.


  1. Students let's THINK before you speak. Make sure whatever it is that you have to say passes the THINK Test prior to saying it. 

     T - is what you have to say True

     H - is what you have to say Helpful

     I - is what you have to say Inspiring

     N - is what you have to say Necessary

     K - is what you have to say Kind


  1. McCormick students when a substitute teacher is present, all expectations still apply.  You know what is expected out of you each day in the building. So when a substitute is in, be sure to continue to work hard so you can continue to be the best you can be. 


  1. Make sure you are exhibiting the skills of Positive Communication, Positive Group/Team Work, Being to class on Time, Problem Solving, Questioning and Reflecting, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Listening, and Empathy for a chance to earn a ticket for the end of the quarter rewards.  We will be giving away some great prizes.


  1. Stay in the Game! We are winding down on our last grading period of the year and award for the grade level with the best attendance rate for the quarter. Currently 6th grade is in the lead with an attendance rate of 94%. 7th and 8th grade are right behind them with a rate of 93%. It is another close race.  Keep coming to school.
