  1. Today’s lunch is Rotini & Meat Sauce

  1. Congratulations to the girls and boys cross country team as they had awesome races on Saturday at the Tiger Classic. Girls won the meet! They were led by Andrea Lesnak, Haley Henning, and Grace Jackson! Boys were led by Kellan Hall, William Meyer, and Jackson Mize. We are looking forward to an amazing season with these athletes. Go Tigers!

  1. Lunch money and notes for the office should be brought to the office during first period.

  1. Reminder to all students:  

    1. Cell phones are to be kept in your lockers at all times.

    2. Charged Chromebooks are to be brought to school every day!

    3. Only those students who are riding the bus are to leave the classroom at 2:20.  Walkers, bike riders, and parent pickup students are to remain in the classroom until the 2:25 dismissal bell.

  1. Attention 6th, 7th, and 8th grade academic challenge members. Practice will be held today from 2:30-3:15 in room 208. See Mrs. Rowen if you have any questions. 

  1. Tomorrow is Dine with Domino’s - order Domino’s tomorrow to help raise some dough for the PTO. 

  1. Ripcho Studios will be here on Friday to take school pictures.  If you did not get an order form, or need another one, please stop by the office.  Bring your completed order form and payment with you on Friday to give to the photographer.  Pictures can also be ordered online at ripchostudio.com using the passcode 1001152715.

  1. There is no school on Monday, September 2.

  1. The Huron Public Library would like to welcome you to the new school year with BACK-TO-SCHOOL SNACKS & ACTIVITIES this week after school. The library is also looking for 7th & 8th graders interested in joining the Teen Library Council. 

  1. McCormick students respect the opinion of others whether they agree with the other person or not. During a discussion, you should respect the other students’ comments, opinions, and ideas. Listen to their thoughts attentively and do not interrupt until they have finished their entire thought. At no time do McCormick Students put down or make fun of another student for their opinion, thought or idea that they share.
