  1. Today’s lunch is Grilled Cheese Sandwich

  1. Lunch money and notes for the office should be brought to the office during first period.

  1. Reminder to all students:  

- If you do not arrive at school by 8:00am or provide a doctor’s excuse, you cannot participate in after school activities.

- Cell phones are to be kept in your lockers at all times.

- Charged Chromebooks are to be brought to school every day!

- Only those students who are riding the bus are to leave the classroom at 2:20.  Walkers, bike riders, and parent pickup students are to remain in the classroom until the 2:25 dismissal bell.

  1. 7th and 8th grade students are reminded that if you would like to change your schedule, you have until today, to do so.  Your parents must write a note, send an email or complete the Google Form sent out through Final Forms to parents by Mr. Doughty with the change you are requesting.

  1. Cross country runners should stop by Mrs Lacrosses room at the end of the day to get locker decoration. You will hang this up before heading out for practice. Mrs lacrosses room is 106. Stop by after dismissal bell.

  1. Ripcho Studios will be here today to take school pictures. All students will be getting their picture taken today whether purchasing pictures or not.  Those students that are purchasing pictures please bring your completed order form and payment with you to give to the photographer.  Pictures can also be ordered online at ripchostudio.com using the passcode 1001152715.

  1. There is no school on Monday, September 2.

  1. The Huron Public Library would like to welcome you to the new school year with BACK-TO-SCHOOL SNACKS & ACTIVITIES this week after school. The library is also looking for 7th & 8th graders interested in joining the Teen Library Council. 

  1. The McCormick Way - Positive Actions, Accepting K-C-R, Working to Succeed, and Stay Safe. Let’s make sure all our decisions and actions are centered around the McCormick Way.

  1. Reminder - Students are not to be chewing gum at McCormick. Students caught with gum will be issued a detention.  

  1. This week has been very hot. We want everyone to be safe. I know we are not permitting water bottles in classrooms this year. But you can get drinks anytime you need one.  Please ask your teacher and get permission first. 

  1. Attention all students who plan to attend any home athletic contest or away contest at other Sandusky Bay Conference schools. We would like to remind you of our expectations for you regarding your behavior while at the contest supporting our athletes.

All students are required to follow the expectations that are in the student handbook. Students who fail to follow these rules could be subject to removal from the contest and disciplinary consequences. Students are reminded that when attending contests or activities, it is a school sponsored activity and you are representing Huron City Schools.
