Today’s lunch is Burrito
Lunch money and notes for the office should be brought to the office during first period.

McCormick Jr. Honor Society members will meet today during 8th grade study hall. Members should check in with their homeroom teacher before reporting to the auditorium. Bring your chromebook with you to the meeting. See Mr. Maleski or Mrs. Rowen if you have any questions.
7th and 8th grade students are reminded that if you would like to change your schedule, you have until tomorrow, to do so. Your parents must write a note, send an email or complete the Google Form sent out through Final Forms to parents by Mr. Doughty with the change you are requesting.
Ripcho Studios will be here tomorrow to take school pictures. If you did not get an order form, or need another one, please stop by the office. Bring your completed order form and payment with you on Friday to give to the photographer. Pictures can also be ordered online at ripchostudio.com using the passcode 1001152715.
There is no school on Monday, September 2.
The Huron Public Library would like to welcome you to the new school year with BACK-TO-SCHOOL SNACKS & ACTIVITIES this week after school. The library is also looking for 7th & 8th graders interested in joining the Teen Library Council.
If you win or do well at something, do not brag. If you lose, or do poorly at something do not show anger. To show anger or sarcasm, such as “I wasn’t playing hard,” or “you really aren’t that good,” shows weakness. McCormick Students always treat each other with respect. Remember if you do not have something nice to say then don’t say anything at all.
Reminder - Students are not to be chewing gum at McCormick. Students caught with gum will be issued a detention.
This week has been very hot. We want everyone to be safe. I know we are not permitting water bottles in classrooms this year. But you can get drinks anytime you need one. Please ask your teacher and get permission first.
