1. Today’s lunch is a taco bar and the fresh salad bar. 


2. Students who plan on taking a BGSU CCP class (not at Huron High School) in the fall of 2025: Please check your google classroom to schedule an appointment on either Thursday or Friday this week with Jennifer Buening, our CCP advisor from BGSU Firelands. If possible, please schedule your meeting during study hall or WIN time. ONLY STUDENTS THAT HAVE APPLIED, BEEN ACCEPTED, AND SET UP THEIR BGSU ACCOUNTS MAY SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS. If you have any questions, please reach out to the counseling office.


3. Any senior applying for the student council scholarship applications are due this Friday. See Ms. Kozich with any questions.


4. Course request forms are due in the counseling office. If you haven’t turned yours in, please submit it to the counseling office ASAP.


5. Any seniors who are participating in collegiate athletics need to stop by and talk with Mr. Ayers in his office.


6. As a reminder, if you come down to the office to borrow a chromebook or a charger, please remember to bring your cellphone with you to leave in exchange. 


7. Are you interested in photography? The Friends of Old Womens Creek is holding a PHOTO CONTEST. Students may enter up to 3 photos. There are 2 high school age groups. Ages 13-17 and 18 and up. There are ribbons, a cash prize, and your work will be displayed. Anyone interested may submit a photo jpg online to [email protected] by Aug 24th.


8. ACT scores have been officially sent to the high school.  We will have 4 students to add to the ACT 30+ board.  A special shout out to Rachel Merckens for scoring a 36 on her ACT.  Keep your eye out for the article in the Sandusky Register that was written by Riley Towns (10th) who is doing an internship with the paper.


9. Attention Students: We are in the 2 minute warning of the school year.  Let's finish strong!  Students that are present 85% of the remaining school days will be entered to win Cleveland Browns prizes including an autographed Nick Chubb football.
