February 4th, 2025
1. Today’s lunch is cheesy nachos, burritos, refried beans and a fresh salad bar.
2. Last Weekend, the Huron High School music department participated in the OMEA District 2 Solo & Ensemble event at Genoa HS. The choir department took 24 students in 14 events. The students had an extremely successful day, receiving the top three ratings in all events throughout the day.
3. This week is School Counseling Week. Please feel free to help recognize Mrs. James, Ms. Scherley and Ms. Pisano for what a great job they do for our building!
4. If you signed up to volunteer at Woodlands Elementary for Family Game Night, please be there by 6pm tonight.
5. TLC’s Huron Hobby Hop will be taking place on Thursday, Feb. 13 during the last two hours of the school day. Our school will be running on a shortened class schedule that day. If you are here for 8th period, you are required to be in attendance for the Hobby Hop. If you are not here during 8th period, you are welcome to join us.
Session rosters have been posted in the cafeteria and near the office. Each student has been assigned to four different topics, one for each session time. Find your name in the rosters that are posted, and jot down or take a picture of the location and time of each of your sessions! If you cannot find your name, it may be misspelled, so look for something that could pass as your name! We had some problems with the transfer of handwritten names to a google doc. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Lee, Joslyn Dete, or Julia Brown.
