  1. Today’s lunch is Bosco Sticks.


  1. Reminder to 7th and 8th grade students who received an eligibility letter for McCormick Junior Honor Society:  The deadline to return the application and essay will be 3:00pm this Friday, February 7, 2025.  Forms turned in past the deadline cannot be accepted  no exceptions.  The application should be returned to the main office and not given to a teacher.


  1. Attention all 8th grade girls interested in playing high school soccer this fall! There will be a meeting for players and parents with the varsity coaches on Monday, February 10th from 6:30-7:30pm in the HS cafeteria to discuss the upcoming season, expectations, and important information. If you’re thinking about joining the program, please plan to attend!


  1. ROX will meet this week on Thursday during 7th period.


  1. Sources of Strength Peer Leaders will meet on Thursday during choir/band/WIN periods. 8th grade peer leaders will meet during 4th period in Mr. Schoenherr's room. 7th grade peer leaders will meet during 6th period in Mr. Maleski's room.  6th graders will meet during 5th period in Mrs. LaCrosse's room.


  1. Interim grades will be handed out on Thursday, February 13.


  1. There is no school on Friday, February 14 and Monday, February 17.


  1. There will be a brief meeting on Thursday, February 20th, at 1:00pm for any 8th grader interested in playing football next year.  Please wait to be called down.


  1. It is time to order your yearbook!  The 2024/2025 McCormick Middle School yearbooks can be ordered online at ybpay.com using code 14845925.  The deadline to order a yearbook is April 10, 2025.  Yearbook order forms have also been handed out to students.


  1. McCormick Students are polite. McCormick Students always say thank you when they are given something or someone else does something for you. You should always show others that you appreciate what they do for you. Whether it is when you are handed a cookie in the lunch line, or if someone holds the door for you, you should always say thank you.
