  1. Today’s lunch is: Chicken Nuggets


  1. If you are not buying breakfast in the morning, do not go to the cafeteria.  Go to the auditorium when entering the building in the morning if you are not purchasing breakfast.


  1. Please check the lost and found for missing items.


  1. Reminders: 

    • Charge your chromebook every night.  Bring your charged chromebook and charger to school everyday.  Do not borrow from others and do not leave chargers/chromebooks in classrooms.

    • The only students that should be leaving their classroom at 2:20 are those students that are getting on the bus to go home.  Students not riding the bus are not to be out of their classroom until the 2:25 bell rings.  This includes going to their locker, the restroom or getting a drink. You will need to wait until the 2:25 bell to do that. 

    • Cell phones are to be kept in your lockers

    • If you are not at school by 8:00am, or if you are absent for the day, you can not participate in after school activities unless you were physically at the doctor/dentist and have a medical excuse stating that.


  1. ROX will meet tomorrow during 2nd period. Please remember to return your Cedar Point Form.


  1. The 6th grade Civics Club is collecting items to make care-packages for the homeless.  Donate an item tomorrow to earn the privilege of wearing a hat to school tomorrow.


  1. Third Quarter ends tomorrow.  Make sure to check your grades and check with your teachers to make sure assignments are turned in.  Make sure your fees are paid so your grade card is not withheld.  Grade cards will be distributed on Friday, March 28.


  1. Spring Break is March 17 - March 21.  If you plan to take extra time off during spring break, a vacation form must be completed and turned in so Mr. Doughty can approve the absence.


  1. 8th graders - Your signed course request forms are due to Mr. Schoenherr by Tuesday, March 25.  Find that blue form, select your 9th grade classes, get your parent or guardian to sign the bottom and turn it in.  Mrs. Scherley will be at McCormick on Monday or Tuesday after break during 4th period to help those who were absent and answer questions.


  1. Track Uniforms must be ordered and received by March 25, which is picture day.


  1. If you are planning to take CCP classes for this summer or next school year, you need to turn in your CCP Letter by April 1st.  Forms are available on our website under High School Counseling.


  1. It is time to order your yearbook!  The 2024/2025 McCormick Middle School yearbooks can be ordered online at ybpay.com using code 14845925.  The deadline to order a yearbook is April 10, 2025.  Yearbook order forms have also been handed out to students.


  1. McCormick students respect others not only in their speech but also their actions. Students need to realize that their actions can show disrespect as well. When students tsk another person, roll their eyes, or smack their lips these are all signs of disrespect. Gestures like these are a sign of disrespect and a bad attitude. Let’s stay positive, and show respect at all times.
