  1. Today’s lunch is: Walking Taco


  1. There is no track practice today or tomorrow.


  1. Reminders:  Please remember to charge your chromebook every night.  Bring your charged chromebook and charger to school everyday.  Do not borrow from others and do not leave chargers/chromebooks in classrooms.

          Do not leave for after school activities until the 2:25 bell.


  1. Reminder to all students:  If you are not at school by 8:00am, or if you are absent for the day, you can not participate in after school activities unless you were physically at the doctor/dentist and have a medical excuse stating that.


  1. Congratulations to the newest members of the McCormick Jr. Honor Society. All new members should have received an email to join the google classroom. All members should check google classroom for the latest announcements. Also, March 10th is the last day to order a Jr. Honor Society t-shirt. See Mrs. Rowen if you need another order form.


  1. ROX will meet today during 1st period. 


  1. Parent-Teacher Conferences are this evening from 3:00-6:00pm.


  1. There is a cheerleading tryout parent and student informational meeting tonight at 6:00pm, in the High School Gym.  Tryouts will be March 10, from 6:30-8:00pm, in the High School Gym.


  1. STEAM Club will meet tomorrow in Mr. Haplea’s room.


  1. Track Uniforms must be ordered and received by Tuesday, March 11, which is picture day.


  1. Third Quarter ends Friday, March 14.  Make sure to check your grades and with your teachers to make sure assignments are turned in.  Grade cards will be distributed on Friday, March 28.


  1. Spring Break is March 17 - March 21.  If you plan to take extra time off during spring break, a vacation form must be completed and turned in so Mr. Doughty can approve the absence.


  1. It is time to order your yearbook!  The 2024/2025 McCormick Middle School yearbooks can be ordered online at ybpay.com using code 14845925.  The deadline to order a yearbook is April 10, 2025.  Yearbook order forms have also been handed out to students.


  1. McCormick students respect the opinion of others whether they agree with the other person or not. During a discussion, you should respect the other students’ comments, opinions, and ideas. Listen to their thoughts attentively and do not interrupt until they have finished their entire thought. At no time do McCormick Students put down or make fun of another student for their opinion, thought or idea that they share.
