1. Today’s lunch is Chicken Strips or Pulled Pork.

2. If you have notes, fees or lunch money, please bring it to the office during 1st period.

3. The Huron City Schools College Credit Plus (CCP) meeting will be held today, Thursday, January 23, 2025, in the Huron High School Cafeteria at 7:00 p.m. This is for all students and parents of students entering 7-12 grade in the 25-26 school year, AND who plan to take a College Credit Plus class in the Summer 25, Fall 25, or Spring 26 semesters, FOR THE FIRST TIME. 

4. Attention Student Council members, please check google classroom and complete the google form that was sent out.

5. For all McCormick Jr. Honor Society members, there is a meeting today during 8th grade study hall. We will meet in the auditorium. Please check in with your homeroom teacher first.

6. Attention all students and staff, Student Council will be taking carnation orders next week on Wed - Friday (Jan. 29th-31st) during all 3 lunches.  The cost for a carnation is $2 and carnations will be delivered on Feb. 13th since we do not have school on Feb. 14th. 

7. It is time to order your yearbook!  The 2024/2025 McCormick Middle School yearbooks can be ordered online at ybpay.com using code 14845925.  The deadline to order a yearbook is April 10, 2025.  Yearbook order forms have also been handed out to students.

8. McCormick Students should surprise others by performing random acts of kindness. Go out of your way to do something surprisingly kind and generous for someone. You should make an effort to do things like this at least once a week.
