1. Spirit Week starts Wednesday. Wednesday is pink day. Thursday is Ohio State vs. Michigan Day. On Friday, the Student Council will be putting on the Oddball Olympics. Wear your class colors - Seniors Black, Juniors Red, Sophomores Gray and Freshman wear White.
2. Donations for Helping Hands Food Pantry will be collected this week. Donation boxes are outside the Counseling and Main Offices. Please see the posted non-perishable items for ideas. Thank you for any generosity you can share this holiday season!
3. Help spread a grateful spirit this week. Sources of Strength Peer Leaders invite everyone at Huron High School to share their gratitude with fellow students, faculty, and staff by writing thank you notes. Cards and mailboxes are available in the Main Office, Counseling Office, and in various designated classrooms. There is no limit to the number of thank yous a student can send, so feel free to write more than one. Cards can be written and mailed through Thursday, November 21 and will be delivered on Friday, November 22.
4. Congrats to Anastasia Sheppard, Mrs. Lee, Lucas Rager, and Hunter Hoffman for making it to the finals of the TLC and Huron 5 Huron High School talent competition. These four will square off at a live assembly this Friday at 1:30 in the gym! Be sure to bring your phones so you can vote on your favorite talent.
5. After 4 weeks of the TLC shoe drive, North Point is in 1st (6.5 shoes per student), Lee is in 2nd (2.9 shoes per student), and Blevins in 3rd (2.4 shoes per student). Keep them coming! The drive ends December 13.
6. Student Council will meet Wednesday after school in room 202.
7. There will be a short meeting after school on Wednesday in room 205 for anyone interested in Winter Track. All athletes are welcome and no track meet participation is required.
