  1. Today’s lunch is Walking Taco.


  1. Both the 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams won their games last night!


  1. Mccormick Jr. Honor Society Members will meet in the auditorium today during 8th grade study hall.  Please check in with your homeroom teacher first before reporting to the auditorium.


  1. Parent-teacher conferences are today from 3:00pm-7:00pm.  There are a few conference slots still available for 8th grade conferences. Please go to our website if you’d like to schedule a conference.


  1. Attention Student Council members, our next meeting will be today, during 8th grade lunch in Mrs. Rowen's room. Please bring your chromebook with you.


  1. BROX’s first meeting for both 7th and 8th graders will be this Friday in Ms. T's Room 105. The 7th Grade BROX group will meet during 1st period. The 8th grade BROX group will meet during 2nd period. Please check in with your 1st and 2nd period teachers before coming to BROX.


  1. There is no school on Monday, October 14.


  1. Ripcho Studios will be at McCormick on Friday, October 18, for picture retakes.  If you were absent on picture day in August, plan to have your picture taken.  Order forms are in the office if you need one or order online at RipchoStudio.com using the online password 1001152715. If you are not satisfied with your photos from the original Picture Day, bring the entire package to get your picture retaken.


  1. Future Huron swimmers!  The wait is almost over - our first practice is Tuesday, October 15.  Whether you’re new to swimming or a seasoned competitor, we’re ready to welcome you to an incredible season full of growth, teamwork, and fun.  A bus will leave McCormick at 5:25pm, Monday through Thursday, to take you to the pool.  Don’t miss this chance to dive into something great. See you there - and let’s make waves together!

 

  1. When you are given something from someone, never insult that person by making negative comments about the gift or by insinuating that it wasn’t appreciated. No matter how big or small or how valuable the gift is, one should always say thank you and show gratitude.
