ANNOUNCEMENTS - MONDAY, APRIL 10, 2017
1. Attention students traveling to Florida this June on the Marine
Science trip: Mr. Blevins will be having a brief meeting in his
classroom after school today. It is important that you attend.
2. Attention CCP Students planning to take a course at the Firelands Campus or Online: You must sign up for advising appointments with Mrs. Fahr and Mrs. Smith in the Counseling office.
However, BG advising appointments are canceled for today. Your appointment will be moved to this Thursday around the same time. Please wait to receive your pass on Thursday morning.
3. There will be a brief meeting for boys basketball in Mr Schaeffer's room (207) after school Wednesday, April 12.
4. Mrs.
Merckens students who are in the building today - Please report to
study hall during the period you would be in her class. Third period
Contemporary Issues class please report to Merckens classroom as Mr
Brickner will be with you.
5. New scholarship for seniors: Walter H. Ulmer/Local 913 UAW Scholarship Program Scholarship
award available to graduating high school seniors enrolled as a
full-time student pursuing post-secondary education in the fall.
Applicants must be a child, grandchild, or legal ward of an active or
retired Local 913 member in good standing. Applications can be found in
the HHS Counseling office or from Unit Work Center or Local 913 Hall. DEADLINE APRIL 28, 2017
6. The Athletic Boosters are looking for some high school student volunteers
to help in the Track Concession stand during spring break for the
following dates:
Monday- April 17 4pm
Tuesday-April 18 4pm
Saturday-April 22 10am
(Huron Invite)
*Students will receive community service hours for helping in the concession
stand and, as always your help would be greatly appreciated! If
interested please contact Steve Camella at school or call or text Amy

7. Firelands Regional Medical Center School of Nursing will be holding an Open House on Wednesday, April 12th 6-8 p.m. at
Firelands South Campus, 1912 Hayes Avenue, 4th Floor. You will be able
to meet the staff, tour the facility, talk with current students, and

Sports
Force Parks in Sandusky is looking for volunteers to help with a T-ball
league for individuals with disabilities. Please see the informational
flier( posted around the school) regarding the dates and times of the
league.
Open practice starts April 17th and games begin May 1st.
All volunteers for the t-ball league will receive an underarmour shirt and hat with Force All-Stars Logo on them.
