Board Appointment to the Huron Joint Recreational District. 

In collaboration with the City of Huron and the Huron Township, Huron City Schools has three representatives on the Huron Joint Recreational District Board. Currently there is an open seat to be appointed by the Huron City Schools Board. The commitment is voluntary and consists of monthly meetings and partnership work for the successful operation of the Huron Joint Recreational District. Any resident living within the service boundaries of Huron City Schools is eligible to serve as a representative. Complete the application linked here to formally submit your interest. The Board will consider all applicants who submit while the posting is vacant. Submissions after the appointment has been filled will be held for future vacancies. 


Board Appointment to the City of Huron Tax Incentive Negotiating Review Committee. 

In collaboration with the City of Huron, Huron City Schools has a Board appointed representative on the Tax Incentive Negotiating Review Committee. The commitment is voluntary. The committee meets as needed, quarterly or less frequently. Any resident living within the service boundaries of Huron City Schools is eligible to serve as a representative. Complete the application linked here to formally submit your interest. The Board will consider all applicants who submit while the posting is vacant. Submissions after the appointment has been filled will be held for future vacancies.
