5. Students are reminded to respect our neighbors! Please do not cut through yards when walking to and from school. Please use the sidewalks and go around the block.
6. The Library is now open to the public! Tweens and teens under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult due to current safety regulations, but the Library is also working on a plan for after school table reservations for students. Keep an eye on our website and social media pages for updates.
Banned Books Week is coming up on September 28. Traditionally, Banned Books Week is a time when libraries and other places host events that raise awareness about censorship. What better way to celebrate than to check out a Banned Books Bundle from the Library! Stop by and grab one from the special Banned Books Week kiosk.
Teens in Grades 7 - 12 put your TikTok skills to the test and enter the Teen Monthly TikTok Challenge. Each month, the Library will provide a new theme for your TikTok videos. September's theme is pirates (ARGHHHH). Create a unique 10 - 60 second clip and send it to us by the end of the month for a chance to win prizes and be featured on our social media pages!
