1. Attention Huron Heritage Club members...we will have a lunchtime meeting TODAY in Mrs. Lacrosse's room.

2. Rachel Wallace, Peace Corp, will be our Future Friday’s presenter TODAY. Please wait to be called to the auditorium.

3. There will be a Student Council meeting Monday during 8th grade lunch. All members should plan to attend.

4. Power of the Pen meets TODAY after school until 3:40. Be there!

5. Student Council will be taking carnation orders next week on Wednesday - Friday during both lunches. Carnations are $2 each and will be delivered on Thursday February 13th because we do not have school February 14th. Purchase a flower for yourself, your friends, or that special someone.

6. Are you interested in flying drones? STEAM Club is gearing up for a drone racing scrimmage on February 29. If you would like to try it out come to the next STEAM Club meeting! You will have the chance to observe, pilot, build, code, and repair different types of drones. We will be meeting EVERY WEDNESDAY in February from 2:45-4:15 in Mrs. James's room. There will be other options for students interested in 3D printing, coding, and various maker and art opportunities. All are welcome and bring a pal!

7. There is a scheduled 2 hour delayed start on Wednesday, February 5th.

8. Yearbook order forms have been handed out and e-mailed to parents. Yearbooks can be ordered online at jostensyearbooks.com or return the order form with payment to Mr. Maleski or Mrs. Brown. Remember to order your yearbook by February 28th!

9. January’s core value is Honesty and Integrity.

Do you like the show Stranger Things? Think you can take on a Demogorgon? Join the NEW Dungeons & Dragons Club for Grades 7-12 at the Library. Dungeon Master Clay welcomes both D&D beginners and experts. The bounds of your imagination are the only limits. The next club meeting is on Monday, February 24th, from 4-7 pm. Visit the Teen Services section of the Library's website to register today!

For those that enjoy gentler pastimes, visit the Library today for National Puzzle Day. There will be puzzles throughout the Library for you to piece together and prizes for trivia, word, and number puzzles.

Finally, the Library will be hosting Chess again on Saturday, February 1st, from 1-4pm. Come to learn the game or to be challenged by a chess master. No registration required; just show up!
