  1. Today’s lunch is Cheese Quesadilla.

  1. Only go to the cafeteria in the morning if you are purchasing breakfast.

  1. Student Council is sponsoring a Get Ready for the Test Coloring Contest for the month of April. Coloring sheets may be picked up in the office between class or before study hall. Once you have completed the paper, return it to the office with your name and grade written on the back. The top 3 winners in each grade will receive a prize.

  1. Since the weather limited our ability to recycle last week, Achilles, Georgie, Will, and Zach will recycle the upstairs rooms today during 8th grade study hall and
            Cash Correll, Dillon Strickler, and Brayden Sas will recycle the downstairs rooms today during 7th grade study hall.

  1. State Testing this week:  Tomorrow for ELA.  
            Make sure to get a good night's rest and eat a good breakfast.  Remember to bring your charged chromebook and charger                  everyday! During the testing period students are not permitted to have communication devices in the testing room, this includes smart           watches. These will need to be placed in your locker during the testing period. 

  1. There will be Steam Club this Friday in Mr. Haplea’s room from 2:25 to 4:00.

  1. There will be a football skills camp for 6th grade (soon to be 7th grade) students on Tuesdays from April 23 to May 21 from 2:45pm-3:45pm at McCormick.  Dress as you would for gym class - no cleats.  Bring your own water bottle.

  1. Students that are waiting to enter the cafeteria for lunch must remain in line and stay to the right hand side of the hallway allowing those students and staff room to get by.

  1. McCormick students respect others not only in their speech but also their actions. Students need to realize that their actions can show disrespect as well. When students tsk another person, roll their eyes, or smack their lips these are all signs of disrespect. Gestures like these are a sign of disrespect and a bad attitude. Let’s stay positive, and show respect at all times. 

  1. McCormick students, if someone drops something and you are close to it, show some kindness and compassion and help them out by picking it up.   

  1. Make sure you are exhibiting the skills of Positive Communication, Positive Group/Team Work, Being to class on Time, Problem Solving, Questioning and Reflecting, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Listening, and Empathy for a chance to earn a ticket for the end of the quarter rewards.  We will be giving away some great prizes.

  1. Stay in the Game - keep coming to school and make sure you are working hard to be the best me you can be.
