  1. McCormick students after eating in the cafeteria or elsewhere, be responsible for your trash and the area in which you eat. If one of your friends forgets or leaves something behind, help out by picking it up and throwing it away.

  1. McCormick students when walking to or from the school campus you are to remain on the public sidewalks.  Walking through private property is disrespectful to the property owners if you have not received permission from them first.  Please stay on the public sidewalks and show our neighbors respect.

  1. Make sure you are exhibiting the skills of Positive Communication, Positive Group/Team Work, Being to class on Time, Problem Solving, Questioning and Reflecting, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Listening, and Empathy for a chance to earn a ticket for the end of the quarter rewards.  We will be giving away some great prizes.

  1. The end of the quarter is only 2 weeks away.  Our quarterly attendance competition is close again this quarter. The average daily attendance for the three grades are 95%, 94% and 93%.  The race is very tight with the 6th grade in a slight lead and 8th grade right behind them.  Stay in the game and come to school each day.  Last quarter the 6th grade won. Who will it be this quarter?

  1. Let’s remember McCormick Students are kind, compassionate and respectful. So during this Holiday Season please remember that this season is truly about giving. Not receiving. It’s not about getting the biggest present or the newest fashions or electronics. It is about giving to others, our family, our close friends or just those in need in our community. It’s not about the price tag on the item but that it comes from your heart. Please, let’s not lose the meaning of this Holiday Season.
