1. LUNCH MENU: today-Pasta

2. Reminders: Pajamas are not to be worn at school. Hoods are to be worn down off your head while in school.

3. STEAM Club is meeting today from 2:45-4:15. We will be meeting in Mr. Haplea's room. New members to STEAM Club are welcome to attend! It is open to 7th and 8th graders. Please feel free to drop in and see what the fun is all about! See you in Mr. Haplea's room on Friday for STEAM Club from 2:45-4:15!

4. If you are planning to take extra days off for Winter Break, a vacation form needs to be completed and turned into the office so Mr. Carter can approve the absence.

5. Did you know that cancer is the number one cause of death in children? Let's do our part to remember the children who will be spending the holidays in Cleveland Clinic for cancer treatments. Please check the list in your homeroom and bring in at least 1 item to contribute to the chemo care packages. Remember the winning homeroom receives a special treat.

Add your thoughts to the Huron Public Library's new Huron Stories: Community Journals, made for all ages! Check out titles like: Library Recommendations, Teen Sketches, Ideas for the Future of Huron, Good Vibes, or What's Behind the Door? Each journal checks out for one week. Read what others wrote, then add your own entry. Once a journal is full, it will be added to our regular collection for the community to check out like a regular book! Find these journals in the main lobby today.

Work on your strategic thinking by practicing Chess with chess master Paul Sherwood on Sunday, December 5 starting at 1 pm. Come for fun or to improve your game. Open to all ages and abilities.

If you're looking for a more fast-paced classic game, join fellow players for Euchre Night on Wednesday, December 8 starting at 6:30 pm.
