  • Today’s lunch is General Tso.

 

  • There will be a Student Council meeting Thursday in room 207 during 8th grade lunch.

 

  • The following student council members are recycling today during 7th grade study hall: Jada Foster, Brynn Dennis, Logan Boos, and Lucas Rager

 

  • The 7th grade girls beat Edison last night 36-12. Lizzie Perin led the team with 12 points and Adelyn Vansickle had 11. The last regular season game is tomorrow night at home against Margaretta.

    8th grade lost to Edison 46-24. Keira Westerhold had 7 points and Meredith James 6. 

 

  • On Monday, February 6th, there will be a meeting during your lunch period for any 7th or 8th grader interested in helping with the yearbook this year.  8th graders get your lunch first and then report to Mrs. Brown's room.  7th graders get your lunch first and then report to Mr. Maleski's room.  If you have any questions, please ask Mrs. Brown or Mr. Maleski.

 

  • On Monday, February 6, there will be a mandatory meeting for parents and students who plan to take College Credit Plus classes next school year for the first time. The meeting will be held at 7 pm in the HHS cafeteria. Students currently taking CCP classes will be able to review the information on the CCP website following the meeting. Contact Mrs. James or Ms. Taraschke with questions.

 

  • There is a Huron Softball Clinic sponsored by the Huron High School Softball Team starting February 26th.  The cost is $35.00 and includes a T-shirt. If interested stop by the office for a flyer.

 

  • FROM THE HURON PUBLIC LIBRARY:

Have you participated in a previous Girls Who Code program? Join the Girls Who Code Coding Ambassador Program to help new members learn about coding in a positive environment. Stop by the Youth Services Department at the Library if you're interested in helping out. Girls Who Code meet every Thursday until March. Attendance of every session is not required, but is highly encouraged. Registration required. 

 

Get warm at the Library this winter and play some Chess with chess master Paul Sherwood on Saturday, February 4 at 10am. Come for fun or to improve your game. Open to all ages and abilities.
