WIS ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good morning today is Monday, January 31, 2022

The lunch menu for today is: Walking Taco with Meat, Cheese and Chips or a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich. You also have the choice of any two or more of Fiesta Corn and Beans, Pineapple and Milk

Let’s keep Rachel’s Challenge alive. Make sure you are journaling regularly, accepting others and doing kind acts. Make sure you recognize those students that do kind acts by completing a chain link for them.

Our value word for the week is: Humility - the quality or state of not thinking you are better than other people

Gordon Hinkley once said, “Being humble means that we are not on earth to see how important we can become, but to see how much difference we can make in the lives of others.

If you win or do well at something, do not brag. If you lose, or do poorly at something do not show anger. Instead Woodlands Students say something like, “I really enjoyed the competition, and I look forward to playing against you again,” or “Good Game,” or don’t say anything at all. To show anger or sarcasm, such as “I wasn’t playing hard anyway. You really aren’t that good,” shows weakness. Woodlands Students always treat each other with respect. Remember if you do not have something nice to say then don’t say anything at all.

The lost and found is getting out of control.  If you are missing items please stop by the lost and found and claim the items that are yours.

Great job Woodlands!!  We have reached our goal of 250 pounds of plastic caps.   Now we can order our buddy bench for the playground.   This is the last call. We will keep our collection containers out this week so if you have any more plastic caps that you want to bring in, they need to be brought in by Friday.
