1.  At last night's District Track and Field Championships, advancing to next week's Regional Championships was the 4x800 relay team of Jadyn Towns, Sam Lesnak, Lucy Watson, and Kennedy Schlessman who won the District Championship, breaking both their own school record, and the District meet record. Jaden Carey also advanced, placing in a tie for 2nd in the high jump. The girls 4x400 relay team of Jadyn Towns, Olivia Kohlmann, Kyla Garbe, and Kennedy Schlessman broke the District meet record.

Advancing for the boys was the 4x800 relay team of Jackson Campbell, Jake Case, Sage Edgerly-Bork, and Tyler Kohlmann, placing 3rd. Also advancing was Charlie Norwell in the pole vault, placing 4th and clearing 12'4". Conner Schaeffer broke the District meet record in the 200m dash, and the 4x100 relay team of Austin Brunow, Andrew Delaney, Beau Harkelroad, and Conner Schaeffer also broke the District meet record. Finals are Saturday at Ontario High School. 

2.  Seniors are reminded that chromebooks and chargers are being collected today.   
Be sure to turn your clearance slip into the office when completed.

3.  Juniors who went on the class trip, be sure to stop by the high school office for the group picture.

4.  Prom tickets are being sold during the lunch periods.  Tickets are $30 for singles and $50 for couples.  If you are bringing someone from outside the school as a guest, the form must be turned in when you buy your tickets.  There will be no tickets sold at the door.

After Prom is at Kalahari from 11pm-2am and is open to ALL students. Tickets are $25 and are being sold during lunches. 

5.   CCP students are reminded they need to return their materials to the School Counseling office.

6.  Attention freshmen, sophomore, and junior girls……. Are you involved in our community?  

Would you like the opportunity to represent Huron through your leadership skills? Would you like to be a positive role model for others? Then participating in the 2023 Huron River Fest Queens’ Pageant is for you!  

A $1000 scholarship is available to this year’s Queen.  If you are interested in participating in the contest and would like more information or an application, please visit the Huron River Fest Website at Huronriverfest.com.

An Informational Meeting for contestants and parents is scheduled for Friday, May 26, 2023, at 6:00 pm at the Huron Boat Basin Building.
