Coffee Connections - Public Engagement Opportunity

Huron Schools and the City of Huron are once again partnering on a series of community engagement opportunities for area residents. Huron city manager Andy White and Huron Schools superintendent Dennis Muratori began offering citizens Saturday morning forums known as Coffee Connections in 2013.

The engagement sessions are a series of informal discussions and idea sharing between the city manager, school officials, and the community in order to improve efficiency of public services provided by both organizations. Both White and Muratori believe a collaborative approach provides for more information sharing and overall better service to the entire community. Topics of recent interest include city development, infrastructure upgrades and reinvestment throughout the city and schools, on-going changes to school curriculum and student assessments, school funding and any other topics citizens wish to discuss.

Coffee and pastries will be served. The sessions are open to everyone.

For more information, contact Dennis Muratori at 419 433-1234 ext. 5026.
