Announcements - Tuesday, 3/27/18
1. Attention all students who signed up for a BGSU advising appointment today: Meetings will be held in the Union. You will receive a pass just before your appointment time. Please be on time and bring any test scores or paperwork that you have with you.

On Thursday of this week, Student Council will be holding the annual
Oddball Olympics at the end of the day. This year's events include the
balloon stomp, basketball competition, grapefruit pass, four man push-up
and a three-legged race. There will be sign ups available at lunch.
On Thursday, please wear the following colors: freshmen - gray,
sophomores, red, juniors - white and seniors - black. 3. This Thursday (3/29) is the last day to apply for the Academic Letter. A student must be a sophomore, junior or senior with a
3.6 accumulative GPA to apply. The forms are located in the high school office.
4. Attention all students who were accepted and are planning on attending
EHOVE next year, Mr. Sanderson (the EHOVE counselor) will be here to
meet with all students to schedule for next year at 8:20 on Wednesday, March 28th. Please make sure to attend if you are planning on going to EHOVE next year.

We are looking for a high
school student who would be interested in tutoring a student from
Shawnee after school at the Tiger Kids Club. Please see the main office
for more information.6.
Mrs. Bengele has rescheduled the Biology Exam Jam for end-of-course test prep on Wednesday, March 28 after school in the Tiger Union. Treats will be provided.7. A group is being organized to check out air traffic control in May. Let Mrs. Bengele know if you are interested.
8. Reminder that Seniors should be checking Naviance for new scholarship additions.

Sophomores are leading the attendance for quarter 4 with best
attendance yesterday. Juniors you will be rewarded on Thursday for your
3rd quarter best attendance!

New Volunteer Opportunity: The Firelands Auxiliary Gift Shops are in need of
assistance
in merchandising products, providing customer service, ringing on their
POS system, and restocking. There are also opportunities in the
receiving stock room, where you can learn about buying, receiving
shipments, data entry, inventory management, pricing, stocking, and
inventory rotation. For more information and applications, please

11. Attention all students planning on taking a CCP course next year: The deadline to turn in your Intent to Participate form is April 1st. Please turn it in to the Counseling office no later than next Thursday or you will have to scan and email it to Mrs. Fahr by April 1!

TLC is collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in order to
raise money for childhood cancer. Please help us out by collecting pop
tabs and dropping them off in the office or in Mrs. Bender's room before
April 13th. Thank you for your efforts!
13. Lunch today is a taco or crunchy taco wrap.
