  1. Today’s lunch is Mini Pancakes.

  2. There will be no more charging in the cafeteria. No exceptions.  Please make sure your lunch account is paid.

  3. Attention Student Council members, we will meet today, during 8th grade lunch. Please bring song ideas as we will be working on the song list for the end of the year dance.

  4. State Testing dates:   Science for 8th grade is today.  Please report to your homeroom and make sure to bring your charged chromebook and charger.  During the testing period students are not permitted to have communication devices in the testing room, this includes smart watches.  These will need to be placed in your locker during the testing period.

 

  1. For those 6th and 7th graders who are running for Student Council for the 2024-2025 school year, please return your forms to the office by tomorrow. Remember you are not to get a teacher signature. Mrs. Rowen will collect all forms and meet with each grade level. See Mrs. Rowen if you have any questions.

  2. There is a signup sheet in the office for 8th grade boys interested in playing soccer next year.

 

  1. There will be a meeting on Wednesday at 2:00pm for 8th grade girls interested in golf next year.

 

  1. There is a signup sheet in the office for 8th grade girls interested in playing soccer next year. There will be a brief meeting on Thursday at 2:00pm. Please wait to be called down.

  2. There will be a meeting for any 8th grader interested in running cross country next season in Miss Dunn's room on Friday during study hall.

  3. Students that are waiting to enter the cafeteria for lunch must remain in line and stay to the right hand side of the hallway allowing those students and staff room to get by.

  4. McCormick students respect others not only in their speech but also their actions. Students need to realize that their actions can show disrespect as well. When students tsk another person, roll their eyes, or smack their lips these are all signs of disrespect. Gestures like these are a sign of disrespect and a bad attitude. Let’s stay positive, and show respect at all times.

  5. McCormick students when your classmates do well at something be sure to congratulate them. 

 

  1. Make sure you are exhibiting the skills of Positive Communication, Positive Group/Team Work, Being to class on Time, Problem Solving, Questioning and Reflecting, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Listening, and Empathy for a chance to earn a ticket for the end of the quarter rewards.  We will be giving away some great prizes.

 

  1. Stay in the Game - keep coming to school and make sure you are working hard to be the best me you can be.
