1. Applications will be open May 3rd for the 2024 Riverfest Queen Pageant. These applications are due June 14th and can be found in the high school office. For more information, please see posters around the school!
2. This past weekend at the Margaretta Invitational, the boys finished as team runner-ups and the girls were team champions. Jadyn Towns broke the meet record in the 800m run, finishing in 2:16.61, the 6th fastest time in school history and currently ranked in the top 5 in the state. The 4x100 and 4x200 teams of Austin Brunow, Andrew Delaney, Joe Schaeffer, and Beau Harkelroad broke both meet records, and currently have the #1 time in the state for the 4x200, finishing in 1:27.65, the 2nd fastest in school history. Their 4x100 time is the 3rd fastest in school history, currently ranking #3 in the state, and Beau Harkelroad broke the meet record in the 300 hurdles, crossing the line in 38.51, the 8th fastest time in school history and currently ranks #4 in the state.
3. Congratulations to our top award winners in the Ohio Wildlife Art contest! Huron High School artists took most of the TOP Honors!

4. Attention all juniors going on the class trip: There will be a mandatory meeting for you and a parent/guardian to attend next Thursday (5/2) at 6pm in the cafeteria. Please be mindful of the medication form that was sent out via final forms. This must be filled out and turned in along with any medication to the nurse at the meeting.
5. Huron 5 is looking for two new hosts for next school year. This position is available for current freshmen through juniors. The application is due this Friday and can be found by scanning a QR code found in the office.
6. Thinking about joining Student Council for the 2024/25 school year? Grab an application in the high school office. If you have any questions, see Ms. Kozich.
7. Attention current Juniors: T- Shirt order forms for your Senior shirts are in the High School Office. Orders must be placed by Friday, May 3rd at Bennetts.
8. Students there are some job opportunities posted in the main office as well as outside the Guidance office. Please be sure to check these out!
9. If you are a member of a club or organization, plan to be here Friday, May 3 from 9-10 for group pictures in the gym. Students will be called down by group.
