1. Today’s lunch is Hamburger.
   
   
2. There will be no more charging in the cafeteria. No exceptions.  Please make sure your lunch account is paid.
   
   
3. Over the weekend, the track team competed at SBCs. The boys team placed second overall. First place finishers include Braden Hall in the long jump, Ryan Rogers in the pole vault, Ayden Miller, Will Ferenczy, Nixon Dike, and Paul Murray in the 4 by 200 meter relay, Leah Kohlmann in the 800, and Laney Schlessman, Leah Kohlmann, Allison Kohlmann, and Andrea Lesnak in the 4 by 400 meter relay. Congrats to all athletes on a great season!

4. Attention Student Council members, we will meet Tuesday, during 8th grade lunch. Please bring song ideas as we will be working on the song list for the end of the year dance.
   
   
5. State Testing dates:   Science for 8th grade is tomorrow.                                          Make sure to bring yourcharged chromebook and charger.  During the testing period students are not permitted to have communication devices in the testing room, this includes smart watches.  These will need to be placed in your locker during the testing period.

6. Attention Jr. Honor Society members. We are in need of tutors. Please see Mr. Maleski to sign up.

7. Attention Student Council and Jr. Honor Society  members, please check google classroom for the most recent updates.
   
   
8. For those 6th and 7th graders who are running for Student Council for the 2024-2025 school year, please return your forms to the office by May 8th. Remember you are not to get a teacher signature. Mrs. Rowen will collect all forms and meet with each grade level. See Mrs. Rowen if you have any questions.
   
   
9. There is a signup sheet in the office for 8th grade boys interested in playing soccer next year.
   
   
10. There will be a meeting on Wednesday at 2:00pm for 8th grade girls interested in golf next year.

12. Students that are waiting to enter the cafeteria for lunch must remain in line and stay to the right hand side of the hallway allowing those students and staff room to get by.
    
    
13. McCormick students respect others not only in their speech but also their actions. Students need to realize that their actions can show disrespect as well. When students tsk another person, roll their eyes, or smack their lips these are all signs of disrespect. Gestures like these are a sign of disrespect and a bad attitude. Let’s stay positive, and show respect at all times.

14. McCormick students when your classmates do well at something be sure to congratulate them.  

15. Make sure you are exhibiting the skills of Positive Communication, Positive Group/Team Work, Being to class on Time, Problem Solving, Questioning and Reflecting, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Listening, and Empathy for a chance to earn a ticket for the end of the quarter rewards.  We will be giving away some great prizes.

16. Stay in the Game - keep coming to school and make sure you are working hard to be the best me you can be.
