1. There will be a meeting TODAY after school in the high school cafeteria for anyone (boys & eligible girls) interested in playing tennis this spring.
2. TLC's second annual Pop Tab Tournament is underway! Bring your collection of pop tabs into your 5th period class. Round one ends on Friday, March 1. See the bracket in the cafeteria for who your class is teamed up with and who you are going against for the first round. Winning class receives a free Chick-Fil-A lunch! The collection of pop tabs raises money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Ohio.
3. For those interested in being a part of the Teen Leadership Corps (TLC) class for next year, please stop by either the office or Mrs. Lee's room for an application. Completed applications must be turned in by Friday, Feb. 23. Once your application is turned in, interviews must take place by Friday, March 8.
4. Community service opportunity: Volunteers are needed for upcoming game nights at Woodlands. Times would be from 6-6:45 TONIGHT (1st grade) and Thursday, Feb 29th (2nd grade). See Mr Lamb with any questions.
5. Juniors going on the class trip are reminded your final payment is due. See Mr. Schaeffer in the high school office for your final balance.
6. Sophomores and Juniors interested in the Jr./Sr. Seminar Class for next school year should complete the proposal form and submit it by Friday, February 23. The form is available on Ms. Scherley and Mrs. James's Google Classrooms.
7. Seniors should check the diploma list and their transcripts to verify they will receive the correct graduation materials. See the list and complete the form on Mrs. James's Google Classroom to request corrections. It is also posted outside the counseling office. All corrections must be submitted by Monday, February 26.
8. The Spring Fling will be held on March 2nd. Tickets will be sold during lunches for $10 Feb 26-March 1st. If you're bringing someone from another school, remember the paperwork has to be filled out and turned in when purchasing your tickets.
9. Cheer tryouts for football & basketball for next school year will be held beginning March 4 from 5-7:30pm in the high school gym. Paperwork can be found in the high school office.
