Did you know that According to the 2007 Dropout Prevention Center at Clemson University that students with poor attendance rates have low achievement and high retention rates which are the three factors that significantly increase your likelihood of dropping out.

2. Last Friday, the Boys Golf Team won the Erie County Golf Tournament at Plum Brook Country Club. TJ Murray was the medalist for the tournament with 73.
Yesterday, the Boys Golf Team won the SBC Bay Golf Tournament at Mills Creek Golf Course. Charlie Hardy was the individual medalist after a five hole playoff with two other SBC players. Charlie shot 76 for the tournament.

Pre-sale tickets for tonight's game vs Port Clinton are on sale in the High School office until 2:30pm today. Pre-sale tickets are $6.00. All tickets at the gate will be $8.00.
Just a reminder that Athletic passes are still on sale in the high school office. Students are $30 for 10 home athletic events and adults are $50.
4. Today is the last day to buy Homecoming tickets. No tickets will be sold at the door.
If you are not here for lunch you can buy your tickets in the High School office. No tickets will be sold at the door.
5. #MegStrong T Shirts are on sale now. All proceeds will be donated to the Krafty family. Wear them to the October 13th football game against Clyde for a gray out. Stop in the office to grab your order form today.
6. Crucial Catch order forms for the Friday, October 6th pink out football game are in the office. This year they have hoodies or t-shirts. You can stop in at Lucky Stone, order online or give them a call.
7. Parking passes are still on sale in the high school office.
8. The following colleges/universities are scheduled to come visit Huron High School. Please sign up in the school counseling office if you are interested in meeting with them.
