1.  Cheer Clinics and Tryouts for incoming 9th through 12th graders are scheduled for today through Wednesday, 5:15pm until 6:30 pm at Huron High School gym. All paperwork must be turned in, prior to participating in the clinic.  

2.  Students who participated in Winter sports, if you would like to keep your locker banner please take it down prior to Friday.  All remaining banners will be disposed of after school.

3.  Any student wishing to enroll in College Credit Plus classes for next school year should turn in their Intent Form on or before Friday, APRIL 1, 2022. The form can be found on your Google Classroom page or on the Huron High School Counseling Department webpage.

4.  Attention any girl wanting to play basketball next year there will be a brief meeting in Coach Schaeffer's room right after school tomorrow (Tuesday).

5.  From the cafeteria: Today's lunch menu is a spicy or regular chicken sandwich, fries, fruit and veggie bar.

6.  From the Huron Public Library:
Love writing poetry? Students in Grades 7 - 12 are invited to submit poems in our Teen Poetry Contest for a chance to be published in the next volume of 44839: Poetry From a Zip Code, a local poetry book created annually. To submit poems, bring copies to the main Circulation Desk or email poems to [email protected]. Submit entries by Monday, March 21.

Work on your strategic thinking by practicing Chess with chess master Paul Sherwood on Tuesday, March 22 starting at 6 pm. Come for fun or to improve your game. Open to all ages and abilities.

Older students can also check out the Young Readers Club for readers in Grade 6 - 8. This month's book is Kingston and the Magician's Lost and Found by Rucker Moses & Theo Gangi. The next meeting is Wednesday, March 23 at 6 pm. Find all the monthly book club books at the main Circulation Desk at the Library.

If you're looking for a more fast-paced, classic game, join fellow players for Euchre Night on Wednesday, March 23 starting at 6 pm in the AV area of the Library. Learn the game or come for practice. Open to teens and adults.

NEW THIS SPRING! Interested in coding and making new friends? Join a Girls Who Code Coding Club! The Library has two coding clubs for tweens (Grades 3 - 5) and teens (Grade 6 - 8). Come to hang out, eat some snacks, and learn about coding in a supportive environment! Boys may also register. Visit huronlibrary.org to find registration for both clubs.
