1.  Attention all boys planning to play Boys Golf in the Fall, there will be a quick informational meeting after school on Thursday, 5/11, in Coach King's room. 

2.  Students if you are interested in participating in a high school business camp, please check out the postings around the high school.  The Ohio Business Week entrepreneurship camp will be held June 18-23 at BGSU. The deadline to register is May 18th. 

3.  Remember that Wednesday, 5/10, the End of Course testing is for Algebra 1 and Geometry.  Those not taking the test will need to report to school at 10:15am.  

4.   Juniors, be sure to stop by the high school office to pick up an order form for your "Senior" t-shirt.  Orders are due to Bennetts by May 15th.

5.  The Abbey Rose Foundation is holding a babysitting class on Saturday, 5/13, from 8am-4pm.  The American Heart Association CPR and First Aid is included in the class.  It will be held in the high school student union.  Cost is $20.  Students 6th grade on up can register online at abbeyrosekudrin.com.

6.  Attention freshmen, sophomore, and junior girls……. Are you involved in our community?  

Would you like the opportunity to represent Huron through your leadership skills? Would you like to be a positive role model for others? Then participating in the 2023 Huron River Fest Queens’ Pageant is for you!  

A $1000 scholarship is available to this year’s Queen.  If you are interested in participating in the contest and would like more information or an application, please visit the Huron River Fest Website at Huronriverfest.com.

An Informational Meeting for contestants and parents is scheduled for Friday, May 26, 2023, at 6:00 pm at the Huron Boat Basin Building.  

All applications are due by noon on June 16, 2023. Applications can be completed HERE or turned into the Huron High School Office by June 1, 2023. If you have questions, please reach out to [email protected]

7.  This week is Teacher Appreciation Week!  Please bring in school supply donations on Wednesday, 5/10, to help restock teachers' classroom supplies.  Pencils, glue sticks, tissues, paper etc. are all great examples.

8.  Summer job opportunity for Juniors and Seniors:  Stierhoff Moving Co. is looking for Summer help.  This is a family owned moving company and they are looking for guys or girls that would be interested in moving or packing furniture.  Wages start at $14/hour. Stierhoff Moving Co. is located at 2033 Superior St in Sandusky.  Please call 419-626-5005 with any questions.
