1.  Next year's student council roster is posted on the office window. All members should attend the last meeting on Wednesday at 2:30 in the tiger union. 

2.  This past weekend the girls track and field team won their first SBC Championship since 1979!

Kennedy Schlessman won the Most Outstanding Performer in the track events, breaking her own school record and the SBC meet record in the 1600m run, winning both that event and the 800m run, also breaking the SBC meet record. 

Also winning SBC titles for the girls were; 
Jaden Carey in both the high jump and 100 hurdles
Kyla Garbe in the 300 hurdles and Jadyn Towns, Sam Lesnak, Olivia Kohlmann, and Kyla Garbe in the 4x400 relay

The boys were team runners-up, with the 4x200 relay team of Austin Brunow, Andrew Delaney, Cooper Norwell, and Conner Schaeffer breaking the SBC meet record

Winning SBC titles for the boys were;
Tyler Kohlmann in both the 800m and 1600m runs
and Beau Harkelroad in both the 110 and 300 hurdles

3.  If you are a member of a school club (TLC, NHS, Model UN, Student Council, Academic Challenge, Art Club, Concert Choir, Chorale, Troubadours, Concert Band, Pep Band, Yearbook, Chess Club, Robotics Team) we will be taking group pictures in the gym during 4th period on Wednesday, May 17. Please plan accordingly. 

4.  CCP students are reminded they need to return their materials to the School Counseling office.

5.   Juniors, be sure to stop by the high school office to pick up an order form for your "Senior" t-shirt.  Orders are due to Bennetts today. 

6.  Attention freshmen, sophomore, and junior girls……. Are you involved in our community?  

Would you like the opportunity to represent Huron through your leadership skills? Would you like to be a positive role model for others? Then participating in the 2023 Huron River Fest Queens’ Pageant is for you!  

A $1000 scholarship is available to this year’s Queen.  If you are interested in participating in the contest and would like more information or an application, please visit the Huron River Fest Website at Huronriverfest.com.

An Informational Meeting for contestants and parents is scheduled for Friday, May 26, 2023, at 6:00 pm at the Huron Boat Basin Building.
