1. The Tiger swim teams went to Sandusky last night and came away with a
split. The girls were defeated 99-71 but the boys team remained
undefeated with a 97-73 victory. Top performers for the Boys were Nick
Swope, Derek Griffin, Riki Tanaka, Elijah Hart and Jacob Fries. The
girls were again lead by Hannah Blackwell, Emma Steinmetz, Morgan Morey
and Elizabeth Mast. Maggie Nelson, assisted by Madeline Henry set an
unofficial school record in the 550 yard freestyle, a distance rarely
contested in high school swimming.

3. Attention all
Seniors applying for the Elks Scholarship: There will be an Elks
representative here to pick up scholarships this morning if you have not
already turned it into an Elks Lodge location.
4. Attention Troubadours:Time change for Saturday's show at the Library. Be at the Library by 2:00 for a 2:15 show.
5. Sunday, December 6th, the cheerleaders are competing in a SBC competition at Vermilion High School at 2pm. Tickets are $6 each. Please come show your support.

TLC will be hosting "Operation Troops". The goal is to bring in basic
necessities and snacks such as hard candy, gum, crackers, granola bars,
beef jerky, cards/card games/ journals, pens, toiletries, pocket
kleenexes, chapstick and hand warmers. This drive starts Monday, December 7th and ends Friday, December 11th.
Bring items to your first period class. The first period with the most
items will win fresh baked cookies and hot cocoa. All proceeds go to
help the troops. All donations would be appreciated!

Honor roll students from 1st quarter: State Representative Steven
Arndt's office has sent us certificates recognizing high school honor
roll students. If you would like your copy, please stop into the high
school office.

Attention all sophomores or juniors interested in attending EHOVE next
year. The application period is going on now! If you are considering,
please go to www.EHOVE.net and click on "now it is time to apply"
and fill out the quick application. Mrs. Fahr will send over your
transcript at the end of the semester to complete your file. If you
have any questions, please see Mrs. Fahr in the Guidance office.
9. The Huron ski club will have a meeting on Friday, December 11,
in the high school cafeteria immediately after school. Information
packets are in the office. Please bring parent/guardian form to the
meeting. Parents are welcome to attend. Contact Julie Parell with any
questions.

Seniors, Jostens will be back for one final time to take orders for
graduation supplies (caps & gowns, announcements, etc) on Thursday, December 10, during lunches. You should be receiving a post card in the mail from Jostens if you have not yet placed an order.

Huron Rotary would like to meet our Seniors at their luncheons on
Tuesdays. If you would like to attend, please pick up a form in the
high school office. Once the form is completed and turned back into the
office we will schedule a time for you to go. Please ask a friend to
partner up with you as we like to send a couple at a time.
