HURON HIGH SCHOOL
1. The boys and girls cross country teams both competed at the District
championship meet in Galion over the weekend. The boys team placed 5th,
missing a regional birth by one spot. Individually, Shane Thatcher
will represent Huron as he qualified for Regionals by finishing in 6th
place. Noah Stevens and Caleb Witte ran personal record times for the
boys. The girls cross country team placed 4th and secured a spot in the regional championship meet on Saturday. The only PR of the day for the girls came from Grace Moser who ran 19:43
and placed 9th in the race. Her time is the fastest time ever run by a
Huron freshman and puts Grace at the top of the freshman record board.
Congratulations to her and the rest of the Lady Tiger cross country
