1. Are you and your parents taking extra days off at Christmas? A vacation form needs to be submitted to the office prior to the absence so that Mr. Carter can approve the absence.

2. Don’t forget to bring in chemo care package items to your homeroom class before December 18th! Items to bring are listed in each class, and the winning homeroom in both grades wins a party after Christmas break. Let’s help raise the spirits of children battling cancer this holiday season! If any questions, contact Mr. Sellers, Mrs. Schuh, or Abi Miller.

3. School will not be in session Wednesday-Friday for Thanksgiving Break.

4. Our core value for November is "Courage and Conviction".

5. Mrs. Aber would like to see the following during Channel One today:
Audrey Dudziyk, Claire Daughetry, Samantha Laffay, Tara Fritz, Rachel Meadows, Hunter Hoffman

6. This week at the Huron Public Library:
Want to give back this holiday season? Come to the Huron Public Library and visit our Greetings of Gratitude table where you can write a holiday card to a veteran serviceman or women. We provide the cards, envelopes, and addresses. All you have to do is right a quick note to make a veteran's holiday.

The Library is hosting Chess with Paul Sherwood on Sunday, November 24th from 1-4pm. Come to learn the game or to build your skills by facing a chess champion.

Also, the Library's final fall Life Hack Challenge will be in the YA area on Tuesday, November 26th starting at 3:30pm after school. Try out some life hacks to see if they really work and say hi to Miss Morgan, our new Teen Librarian!

Here's a quick reminder: The HPL will be closing at 5pm on Wednesday, November 27th and will be closed all day on Thanksgiving and Black Friday. The Library will be back to regular hours on Saturday and Sunday.
