1.  Congratulations to the Huron Tiger Wrestling team for qualifying 5 young men to the District tournament.  Elijah Perkins, sectional champ, Keegan Wooten, took second, Braylen Williams, Ashton Perdue and Kirill Turovskiy all finished in third.  Good luck at Districts!

2.  Seniors:  The Class of 2022 HHS Local Scholarships Application is open until March 9, at 3:00 PM. All materials are available on your 2022 Google Classroom. Please stop in the Counseling Office if you have questions.

3.  From the cafeteria: Students be sure to check the lunch menu as there have been some changes for this week.

4.  A representative from the Army will be in the cafeteria during lunch tomorrow.

5.  From the Huron Public Library:
The Huron Public Library will be expanding hours beginning today.  New operating hours will be: Monday - Thursday 9:30 am - 7:30 pm, Friday, 9:30 am - 5 pm, Saturday 9:30 am - 2 pm, and Sunday 1 - 5 pm. Please check the Library's website and social media pages for updates.

Join the next Teen Library Council monthly meeting on Zoom TODAY at 4 pm to share your ideas to improve the Library and the community. Visit huronlibrary.org for all the details.

Love writing poetry? Students in Grades 7 - 12 are invited to submit poems in our Teen Poetry Contest for a chance to be published in the next volume of 44839: Poetry From a Zip Code, a local poetry book created annually. Submit poems at the main Circulation Desk or email poems to [email protected]. Submit entries by Monday, March 21.

Perhaps you want a more thoughtful activity? Work on your strategic thinking by practicing Chess with chess master Paul Sherwood on Saturday, March 5 starting at 10 am. Come for fun or to improve your game. Open to all ages and abilities.
