W.I.S. MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS 


Good morning today is Tuesday, October 25, 2022 


The lunch menu for today is: Students will have the choice of Macaroni and Cheese or a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich . You will also receive California Blend Vegetables, Assorted Fruit  and Milk 

Students will also have the choice of salad bar today. 



Let’s keep Rachel’s Challenge alive. Make sure you are journaling regularly, accepting others and doing kind acts. Make sure you recognize those students that do kind acts by completing a chain link for them. 



Our value word for the week is: Courteous - very polite in a way that shows respect

Students let's THINK before you speak. Make sure whatever it is that you have to say passes the THINK Test prior to saying it.

Huron Public Library Tween & Teen Announcements for Week of Sunday, October 23


Check out TEENtober at the Huron Public Library this October! TEENtober is a nationwide celebration of tween and teen programs at the Library. Stop by this week to play the Library's Wii games!


Looking for more spooky fun this Halloween season? Come to the Library for TRICK-or-READING on Tuesday, October 25 at 6:30 pm. Children ages 3½ and up are invited to join Teen Library Council volunteers as they read Halloween books at different locations throughout the Library and distribute some fun treats. Children are encouraged to wear their costumes for a ghoulish good time. Registration required. 


Everyone is welcome to join local chess enthusiast Paul Sherwood for Chess at the Library this Saturday, October 29 starting at 10 am. Come for fun or to improve your game. This program is open to all ages and abilities

The lost and found already has several items in it.  If you are missing items please stop by the lost and found and claim the items that are yours.




It’s time for Dine with Domino’s again! Dining with Domino’s will take place the 4th Tuesday of each month. This is an easy way to help the Huron PTO raise money. All you have to do is mention Huron PTO and Domino’s will gladly donate 10% of your order back to the school. You can even order online or through the Domino’s app.  Thanks for your continued support,  GO TIGERS and order your Domino’s today! 




Today 3rd grade students will be completing Part 1 of the Ohio State ELA Test. Students in grades 4, 5 and 6 will need to be quiet in the hallways during the testing period.  We will also be turning the bells off during the testing period.  




Student 1:Do you know what’s coming?

Student 2: No, what?

Student 1: It’s too soon for me to “let the cat out of the bag”

Student 2: “I’m all ears to find out.”
