It’s time for Dine with Domino’s again! Dining with Domino’s will take place the 4th Tuesday of each month. This is an easy way to help the Huron PTO raise money. All you have to do is mention Huron PTO and Domino’s will gladly donate 10% of your order back to the school. You can even order online or through the Domino’s app.

Last year the PTO raised over $3,000.00 just through Domino’s! We were able to help fulfill Teacher Wish List Items and other school related purchases for both Shawnee Elementary and Woodlands Intermediate!

We would love for you to participate and enjoy a delicious lunch or take a night off from cooking dinner. Thanks for your continued support,  GO TIGERS and order your Domino’s tomorrow!

Congratulations to the following Fire Prevention Week Poster Contest Winners.  In 3rd grade the winners were: Ryleigh Smith, Beatrice Tang, Henry Hawkins and Griffin Bork.  The 4th grade winners were: Jasmine Fitch-Aden, Nichole Hicks, Gage Hall and Malcom Thurston.  The two overall winners were Griffin Bork and Malcom Thurston.  They won lunch with the firemen at the Pied Piper.

Have you ever heard the phrase, “break a leg” or “hang in there?”

These are called idioms.  You can research an idiom or other type of figurative language and dress up in your favorite one for school on Monday, October 31, 2022. Please be sure your attire is not distracting and will not prevent others from learning.  Start planning now so you don’t  “miss the boat” on this fun activity!
