Today’s lunch is Mini Corn Dogs.

Student Council will be selling tickets for the end of the year dance today - Friday during 7th and 8th grade lunches. Tickets are $5. To purchase your ticket, you must turn in the dance permission slip. See Mrs. Rowen if you need another copy.

Attention student council members, please remember to drop off your cookies and water or lemonade to Mrs. Rowen by Friday.

Any current 8th grader who is interested in Student Council at the High School next year, should see Mrs. Rowen today.

There will be a parent/player informational meeting for boys who will be playing soccer next fall at the High School cafeteria today at 7:00pm.

There will be a meeting for 8th grade girls interested in playing tennis next year on Friday, May 24 at 2:00pm.

Students that are waiting to enter the cafeteria for lunch must remain in line and stay to the right hand side of the hallway allowing those students and staff room to get by.

McCormick students respect their educational environment. They make sure if they see a mess or trash laying around, they do their part by helping to pick or clean it up. Whether in the cafeteria, restroom, hallway or classroom do your part and help to keep our McCormick home neat and orderly to support our learning environment.

McCormick students after dining in the cafeteria or elsewhere, be responsible for the area in which you eat.  Always leave the place you are eating picked up. .  

Make sure you are exhibiting the skills of Positive Communication, Positive Group/Team Work, Being to class on Time, Problem Solving, Questioning and Reflecting, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Listening, and Empathy for a chance to earn a ticket for the end of the quarter rewards.  We will be giving away some great prizes.

Stay in the Game! We are winding down on our last grading period of the year and award for the grade level with the best attendance rate for the quarter. Currently 6th grade is in the lead with an attendance rate of 94%. 7th and 8th grade are right behind them with a rate of 93%. It is another close race with only 10 days left.  Keep coming to school.
