There are more than 2.5 million post 9/11 military veterans that have served our nation, which is still less than 1% of the population. 80 percent of those veterans have spent some time in an overseas combat zone.
Tomorrow is the last day to donate to the Veterans Donation Drive. Please consider helping out. Thank you! Your homeroom teacher has a list of items needed, and donations may be placed in the designated box in your homeroom.
There will be a veterans day program on Monday Nov. 11th. McCormick Jr. Honor Society is asking 6th graders to wear red, 7th graders to wear white, and 8th graders to wear blue.
Students if you are asked a question in conversation, it is only polite to ask a question in return. McCormick Students are polite and show others that they are just as interested in them as they are in you.
