1. 8th Grade Girls Basketball tryouts will be today from 5:45-7:15pm at McCormick.

2. 7th Grade Boys Basketball tryouts will be today through Wednesday from 4:15pm - 5:45pm at McCormick.

3. 8th Grade Boys Basketball tryouts will today through Wednesday from 2:45pm - 4:15pm at McCormick.

4. There will be a student council meeting on Wednesday during 8th grade lunch in Mrs. Rowen's room.

5. Are you creative? Do you like to draw? If so, you have an opportunity to design the cover for this year’s McCormick yearbook! Use an 8 1/2 by 11-inch paper, or regular blank computer paper for your drawing. Include "McCormick Jr. High, 2019-20." Please give your cover to Mr. Maleski or Mrs. Brown by Tuesday, November 12th.

6. Grade cards will be distributed Friday. Please make sure fees are paid, overdue library books returned, uniforms returned, lunch charges paid, etc., so that your grade card is not withheld.

7. Are you and your parents taking extra days off at Thanksgiving or Christmas? A vacation form needs to be submitted to the office prior to the absence so that Mr. Carter can approve the absence.

9. This week at the Huron Public Library:
Today at 6pm, stop by the Library for Game Night. This Game Night features the game Heart of Crown where players pick their favorite princess and try to protect her honor.

If you're interested in a more classic game, the Library will be holding pick-up Euchre games in the AV area on Wednesday, November 6th starting at 6:30pm.

Reminder for those in the Girls Who Code Coding Club: The next meeting is this Thursday, November 7th from 4 - 5:30pm.
