1. The next STEAM Club meeting is tomorrow, when we will complete the pig’s heart dissection and rolling prints.

2. Attention academic challenge members, there is no practice this week. We will meet next Wednesday in room 207.

3. Student Council members - check Google Classroom for a survey, the recycling schedule, and a reminder of which committee you are a part of. See Mrs. Rowen if you have any questions.

4. Reminder: School will not be in session this Friday, February 12th, and Monday, February 15th.

5. Parent-Teacher conferences are on Tuesday, February 23rd from 3pm-6pm and on Wednesday, March 3rd from 3pm-7pm. Parents should call the office to schedule a conference time.

6. Students are reminded that cell phones should be stored in your bookbags or lockers. Cell phones are not to be used when in the hallways or restrooms. Cell phones should only be out/used in classrooms when/if the teacher permits it. As stated in the handbook, "Students observed using a cell phone, in any manner, during school hours will be required to immediately surrender their phone to the appropriate staff member. Failure to comply will be considered insubordination and will be subject to discipline”. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Carter.

7. Students are also reminded that hats and hoods are NOT to be worn in the school building. Please see Mr. Carter if you have questions.

8. AND once again…..students are reminded to bring their CHARGED Chromebook to school. Bring a mask to school every day and wear it properly at all times, covering the nose and mouth.

Did you know that the Library has an online Art Gallery that you can submit your work to? Visit the Library's virtual Gallery space on huronlibrary.org to view art and photography shared by your community, then share your own by emailing photos to [email protected]. All ages can participate.

Not sure what to read? Let us be your matchmaker! Request a Blind Date with a Book through Curbside Pickup.   Each book was selected by Library staff and the Teen Library Council and then wrapped for secrecy with a brief description.
