WIS ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good morning today is Monday, March 15,  2021

The lunch menu for today is: Choice of Pepperoni Pizza or a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich. You will also receive Cheesy Broccoli, Pear Slices, Mini Rice Crispy Treat and Milk

Let’s keep Rachel’s Challenge alive. Make sure you are journaling regularly, accepting others and doing kind acts. Make sure that you recognize those students that are performing kind acts by completing a chain link for them. Remember KCR 24/7-365

Our value word for the week is: Conservation -  the protection of animals, plants, and natural resources,

Jane Goodall once said, “Only if we understand, will we care. Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help, shall all be saved.

Students if you are asked a question in conversation, it is only polite to ask a question in return. If someone asks, “Did you have a nice weekend?” you should answer the question and then ask a question in return. For example: “Yes I had a great time this weekend. My family and I went shopping. What about you? Did you have a nice weekend?” Woodlands Students are polite and show others that they are just as interested in them as they are in you.

There are many items in the  lost and found. Please stop and claim items that you are missing.

The Huron Public Library is now open! Please visit huronlibrary.org to find current safety regulations and services being offered, as well as temporary operating hours. Masks must be worn properly in the building.

CALLING ALL ARTISTS/PHOTOGRAPHERS: The Library wants YOU to share your artwork or photography in our Online Community Art Gallery. Visit the Library's virtual Gallery space on huronlibrary.org to view art and photography shared by your community, then share your own by emailing photos to [email protected]. All ages can participate.

Help out your community by donating food to those in need. The Library is collecting non perishable, unexpired food items for our Pay It Forward Food Drive to give to the Huron Food Pantry. If you have food items at home that you'd like to donate, visit the Library and find our drop off box located near the entrance.

Kindergarten - Grade 6 can stop by the Library on Wednesday, March 24 to grab the next STEAM Team on the Go Kit. This kit features some cool experiments involving Cereal Science. Register on our website.

Are you in Grade 3 - 6? Do you enjoy reading and discussing fun books with others? Check out the Rockin' Readers Book Club that meets monthly to discuss some cool books for tweens. Grab the March book from the Library today and join in on the next meeting on Thursday, March 25 at 5 pm on Zoom.
